Believe it or not, some girls really like to get glammed up before going anywhere. And by anywhere, we mean just about everywhere! Here's a woman who decided to come looking her best, even for lifting. This lovely redhead showed up looking runway ready and didn't even feel the need for comfortable shoes.

We bet this is a girl who never shows up anywhere without those pumps and a meticulously done-up face. Based on her outfit of choice, it's clear she wants to stand out from the crowd while she goes about her powerlifting regimen. We hope her feet didn't hurt by the end of it all.

Do You Even Lift?

Whether trying to impress someone, posing for Instagram, or just the after-effects of too much caffeine-fueled pre-workout smoothie, we’ve all been there trying to flex our muscles at the gymnasium and lift much more than we are ordinarily capable of.

This gentleman, however, seems to have taken leg day to a whole other level. The additional weights on his leg press machine are really far too many even to count easily. But perhaps most impressively, the ease on his face suggests this isn’t his first time trying this unique routine. Let’s just hope his calf muscles were able to recover from this.

It's All About Balance

A high heel is one foolproof way to spice up any look but lifting weights in six-inch stilettos? Women indeed can do it all. This woman seems to have mastered the art of not just walking in stilettos but also hitting the gymnasium in them.

However, working out in those does not seem like the safest or most effective way to get those gains. We recommend sticking to some good old sneakers for the sake of comfort and stability. These are highly unstable, and it sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. Style should not be the primary focus here.

The Perfect Trainer

This picture has us wishing we had a furry buddy to hit the gymnasium with too. Most such establishments aren’t dog-friendly, but occasionally, some will let members bring their pets. This canine seems eager to work out with its owner. Just look at how perfectly the pug imitates his dad’s every move.

Pets tend to take after their owners as they want to feel included. Not only has this pup copied his dad’s yoga pose, but they also happen to have the same expression on their faces looking at the camera! This adorable furry friend is definitely all about living that Instagram-worthy life.

Like a Pro!

Most of us struggle to get a decent workout, even in our average training shoes. But this woman looking picture perfect in her red pumps as she does a deadlift has us wondering how? She even has a big smile on her face as she attempts to lift those heavy weights. The woman’s definitely a pro and has done this before.

We wonder if her heeled sessions are the secret behind her perfectly toned glutes and thighs. She looks great, but we reckon there are safer ways to achieve this body type while not compromising safety. We appreciate her conviction, though.

When Dads are Left Alone with the Baby

This fellow did not want to miss out on his sessions even while on dad duty, so he found an innovative way to make the situation work. As much as his dedication to the gym and role as a father are noteworthy, it is concerning if squatting with heavy weights is the safest thing to do with an infant strapped to your chest.

We’re sure if the mother walked in on this sight, she would be just as freaked out as we are. On the other hand, the little one seems blissfully unaware of the crushing weight lifted just inches above its head.

A Couple that Trains Together, Stays Together

There's nothing like having the love of our life giving us that additional boost we need to achieve more reps in the gymnasium. This couple seems to have their workout routines sorted. Our best guess is that the girlfriend also happens to be the guy's personal trainer.

While this equation may work out for the couple in question, some may argue that it can actually be pretty distracting to train with your partner. The gym is a sanctuary for many people and a place where they prefer to be left entirely alone to focus on their physical and mental well-being.

The Thing

Someone probably clicked this photo just a year before the release of Marvel’s “The Fantastic Four.” Could it be that this person in the photo was Marvel’s inspiration behind The Thing? Had he auditioned for the part, he could have given actor Michael Bailey Smith a run for his money.

After all, this guy definitely does look the part! He’s strong and muscular and has put a lot of stress on his nerves. Weight lifting is definitely a strenuous exercise, and we’ve seen veins bulging and popping during training sessions, but this here looks like something that might require a doctor’s attention, stat!

Retro Vibes

All cat parents can understand the sentiment of this gentleman here. Sometimes your love for your cat baby can transcend all forms. Much like the person in this picture, people sure have found unique ways of expressing love for their furry friends.

By the looks of the woman taking this selfie, society might not be ready yet for cat onesies as appropriate workout clothing. Especially onesies with a cat’s face on them! They may have been a popular choice in the ‘80s, but not anymore. But this trainer dances to his own beat as he confidently dons his pet’s face on his clothes.

The gymnast here might not have nailed her move, but the photographer definitely did! Accidents happen in the gymnasium more often than you think, but rarely do some hilarious moments get captured on camera and go viral.

The expressions of this woman as she swings from the hoops, realizing things didn’t quite go the way they were supposed to, are absolutely on point. While it may have been scary as it occurred, however, looking back, we hope the woman was able to reminisce and have a good laugh about it with the rest of the internet. Hopefully, no injuries occurred as a result, either.

New Techniques

Day 1 at the gymnasium and feeling overwhelmed by all the different equipment? We've all been there. Stepping foot inside for the first time and trying to make sense of the various machines is quite a task. That's why it's often challenging for newbies to figure out their way around the different apparatus.

Well, this woman, for instance, seems to have found a unique use for a leg press. We're unsure if this is the most effective or even safest way, though. Maybe next time, she can hire a personal trainer to help her figure stuff out and get the most bang for her buck in the safest way possible.

Got To Work Those Brain Muscles

A strong-willed mind is just as necessary as a good routine when it comes to achieving the perfect summer body. It is no easy task to convince yourself to get up in the morning and tirelessly get some work done. This guy has taken the "Strong Mind, Strong Body" motto too seriously, it seems.

Adding 'head' day into your workout routine along with 'legs, abs, and so on seems like an easy way to get a day off. We've never seen anyone do this before, but if the mind really holds all the power, then perhaps, this is what people should be doing instead.

Bring Your Child to the Gym Day

We've heard of bringing your child to work day, but we've never heard of bringing your child to the gymnasium day. That's because kids really shouldn't be around dangerous equipment. It's common sense, but what can one do when they're stuck with babysitting duty? Here it seems like the dad is using his tiny tot for some extra weight.

She seems more than happy to accompany her dad and looks adorable in her cute headband and matching leggings. Some may think you're never too young to start, but according to doctors, children should not begin such strenuous activities before the age of six or seven.

Gyming Before Cycling

Cyclists are some of the most professional sportspeople out there. They pride themselves on always having all the right gear for the weather conditions and can cycle miles over great distances. Of course, they get a lot of exercises done because of it, but this man still needed an extra boost.

At least it's good practice, as paddling in all his gear will help him train for the real deal. Safety must always be a priority, and we are pleased to see this guy has remembered to wear his bicycle helmet. We doubt there will be any biking accidents on a stable piece of machinery, but you never know.

Work From Gym

Sometimes, we have so much work it’s impossible to fit it all in one day. In a situation like this, we are forced to do more than one thing at once. This guy is doing just that. He couldn’t choose between two essential tasks on this day and combine them.

It gets easy when we’re working from home because we don’t have to be home to get the work done. We’re not sure how much work this guy will actually get done using his laptop while cycling, but we are pleased to see he at least uses a stationary bike.

Her Clever Training (W)heels

Seems like there are many women out there who do not understand what proper gymnasium attire means. She isn't the only one on this list we've seen wearing pumps as she lifts. This is incredibly dangerous and should not be attempted. One wrong move, say hello to a fractured limb, and bed rest for a month.

However, perhaps she is doing something right because her toned body is proof of a great routine. Maybe, the choice of footwear works better in her case. Either way, we do not recommend anyone attempting this approach to gain more muscle because, more likely than not, it will result in injuries.

Double Training

There are no shortcuts in life, and usually, we have to take the long route to get the results we want. The same goes for training. There are no shortcuts to achieving our desired look, and the ones available can usually be dangerous. This woman decided to risk it all and take a shortcut that could be a one-way ticket to the hospital.

She has decided to use a Segway on the treadmill for reasons unknown. We’re guessing she believes it will help her achieve the results faster. All we know is her personal trainer won’t be happy to see a machine doing all the work instead.

A Sticky Leg Situation

Often, bodybuilders end up focusing more on their upper than their lower body, which is one of the reasons why so many of them end up looking disproportionate. Sometimes, even the healthiest gym rat can still forget to take a holistic approach to fitness; that is why so many folks remind one of Johnny Bravo.

Leg day is infamously rough on the muscles, and the training is intense, but it is definitely worth it if it means you look well-rounded from top to bottom. One can assume this guy just realized the terrible mistake of avoiding leg exercises. Thankfully, he can still start.

Got to Lose that Potato Weight

People can’t get enough of potatoes. French fries, mashed, swimming in a stew, or anything else, this vegetable is the perfect carb no one wants to put down. Of course, overeating can get our bodies in a bit of trouble. Potatoes in fast food are also one of the reasons people are rapidly getting obese.

Perhaps, that is why Mr. Potato Head got on the treadmill to change his reputation. He’s tired of looking like a potato and wants to slim down to a fry, maybe. In all fairness, the man inside the costume is probably thinking way ahead. The heat inside will help him slim down faster.

Don't Skip Leg Day

When you start your physical activity routine, it is essential to balance everything. We can't just work on one part of your body and exclude the other. Remember Johnny Bravo; the famous Cartoon Network show character with a significantly larger upper body and spindly matchstick legs?

Skipping leg day is one of the biggest mistakes anyone can make. This guy looks like he wants to be a bodybuilder, but he's made the grave mistake of skipping out on his legs. Yes, squats are incredibly hard, but nobody wants to look disproportionate. This look is known as the "chicken leg syndrome."

Multitasking at Its Peak

Let’s get real; most people would rather chill on their couches while watching TV and eating something unhealthy. Nobody wants to go to the gymnasium and work on themselves tirelessly. It can be really exhausting, even though it is worth it. However, this person has it all figured out because he seems to be doing both together.

He’s reading a magazine while also working on toning his legs and eating a cupcake too! Of course, this cannot be an everyday thing, and it is more likely that someone staged this for a photo shoot. Trust us; nobody gets toned legs like that by eating cupcakes daily.

Donut Tempt Me

People join the gymnasium to improve their lifestyles and eat better food that won’t cause their bodies any harm. Some folks want to shed some pounds and are watching what they eat. However, the members of this place are only watching some delicious Krispy Kreme donuts as they run on their treadmills.

It is pretty unusual to see this because most such establishments have juice bars. Perhaps, the donut company thought it would be an excellent way to motivate people to lose weight because once they do, they can eat more donuts again. However, it won’t be easy to focus on sweating it out with that delicious smell wafting around.

Exercising with Cocktails

When entering the gymnasium, we wouldn't usually see an elderly woman sipping on a margarita, casually sitting on the equipment, but we suppose it can happen sometimes. At least, that is what is happening here. Of course, everyone needs a break now and then. And drinking during the day is also sometimes okay, but why did this grandma choose this of all places?

It turns out it was her birthday, and she was celebrating being in fantastic shape. We've got to say it's great to see older people taking the time out and working on themselves. Some days, it's not even easy to get out of bed at that age.

Time for Some Shut Eye

Incorporating our healthy lifestyle into our everyday routines can be very taxing. It takes a toll, especially when we're new to it. Some may find themselves slacking at work, but this woman decided to get some shut-eye in the gymnasium instead. It is perhaps the only way she could've added this to her daily routine.

It's also possible that she's resting after a strenuous boxing session. After all, practice can be exhausting. However, next time she has an energy crash in the middle of the day, we recommend caffeine. Not only would it help relieve tiredness, but it can also provide a much-needed energy boost to get through the day.

Clueless

A lot of people are clueless when they first start their routine. They don't understand what they need to do, and the equipment feels like a whole new world to explore. The situation can be stressful for any person involved, but if they've got no idea of how everything works and won't even ask around for help, the results can be pretty hilarious.

One thing is for sure; this man was determined to make this work. We really hope he didn't strain his legs because then he would've had to miss a lot of leg days. And as we all know, for a balanced physique, leg day is essential.

Personal Band

Many people like playing their music during training or any tedious task as it helps them feel like time is going by faster. Most people use their phones with some headphones but not this guy. He decided to bring an entire personal band because he needed that much more motivation than most other people.

Being a marching band member is no easy feat. These talented musicians must be able to stride in tandem while maintaining the beat and rhythm. So while they're busy working on their speed and breath control on the treadmill, the guy in the middle gets to jam, too, a win-win for everyone.

Adulting is Hard

Adulting is hard, and things only get more complicated with age. Not everyone has the time to include everything in their day, make appointments, and plan things out of their busy schedules. It is simply not possible for many people. It also seems quite hard for this woman who wanted to get two things done simultaneously.

Before getting to the gym, she puts curlers in her locks for a DIY curl while she’s busy training. After all, who has the time to do both these things separately? We especially love her casual vibe and carefree attitude. She doesn’t care if anyone’s watching, and that’s how it should be.

No Pockets Big Enough

As we mentioned earlier, one's favorite songs can make any activity or chore go by faster. They can elevate our mood, eliminate discomfort, or at the very least make the overall experience much more bearable. So anyone who loves rocking out to their favorite hits everywhere should be well-equipped to do so, right? Well, not this guy.

We're assuming he forgot his phone at home, so he had to get creative. He made the best of his situation and brought his iPad from the car. But of course, that can't fit in his pocket, but that didn't hold him back either, and he got even more creative.

Got to Make Use of all the Equipment

It seems like this guy added everything he could in one go. He didn't want to waste precious time, so he got all his workouts in simultaneously. Not only is he lifting heavy weights, but he is also squatting as his friend watches, impressed at the brave man's balancing prowess.

Squats are known to help build lower body strength, but to make matters more ridiculous, he's doing all this on top of dumbbells placed vertically on the floor. We didn't know it was possible to do all this at once, and we didn't know that someone would even try it until today. Thank you, sir.

Inappropriate Tricks

Not only is this a dangerous position, but it is also pretty inappropriate. We don't know why anyone would need to train in such a way, but the person in charge doesn't seem to mind. He might even have found it to be comical. However, it's essential to note that the poor guy lying below's neck is in a precarious spot.

One wrong move could have fatal results. If the poor guy broke his neck or back, his companion wouldn't be so amused. According to a study, 114 people lost their lives in accidents involving weights and training equipment from 1990 to 2007 in the United States alone.
